"There's been a concerted effort to steal Christmas," Falwell told Fox Television.
He said this in response to Boston renaming their public xmas tree "holiday tree".
Umm, it's not his to begin with! The Christians stole X-Mas from us Pagans! It was our holiday first god damn it!!!!!!!!

Man... would you really want to celebrate Yule with a yule log purchased from Wal-Mart? Talk about materialism...

Poor Falwell. I feel bad for him... he's so obviously mentally handicapped. I should buy him a yule gift... or maybe send him a card for Hannakah...

You know, it's less like stealing and more like trading in a Sega Genesis for a PSP.

People were also upset about Wal-Mart instructing their greeters to say "Happy Holidays" and having their Christmas link on their website go to a general holiday page, complete with Hanukkah and Kwanzaa items in addition to Christmas items. I fail to understand the big deal. It hasn't been en vogue to have little baby Jesuses everywhere for a long time and besides, if Falwell wants to complain about something, how about having the holiday meant to commemorate the birth of his Lord and Savior turned into a materialistic event that has more to do with money than family?
But then, when have I ever thought Falwell was making a good point? Maybe the Pagans should gather and demand to have Winter Solstice recognized by the government and businesses. Where's the celebratory Yule logs at my grocery store, huh??
(P.S. I'm loving your icons. Getting to see Krum everyday is a brilliant thing.)
